About Us

If you hear someone singing the latest pop hits while treating a patient, you know Dr. Brown is in the building! The goal of each and every appointment is for children to have a blast going to the dentist. Additionally, he strives for parents to leave the office with all questions answered and to be comfortable and confident in the diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment of their little ones. At New Leaf Pediatric Dentistry, you can be assured that we will provide a high level of care while having a great experience!

Dr. Brown was born and raised in Long Island, New York, but North Carolina has been his home for over 14 years! After high school, he earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutritional Sciences at Howard University. Following college, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry. He then practiced as a general dentist for five years, treating patients of all ages in Newton Grove and Wake Forest, NC. During his time as a general dentist, Dr. Brown found that treating children was by far the most fun and energizing part of his days, so he decided to pursue specialty training in pediatric dentistry; he then completed his pediatric dentistry residency at East Carolina University before practicing in Sanford and Fayetteville, North Carolina.
